Dreamforce is a busy time for everyone. From breakout sessions to keynote speakers to parties, there is always something going on to keep you occupied from sun up to sun down. So, how do you make the most of your time at Dreamforce? Our VP of Operations, Will Stevenson, will be in attendance for the 3rd time and these are his 5 tips for making the most of your time at #DF15:

1) Plan, Plan, Plan

Make sure you have your schedule planned out. Use the Salesforce agenda builder  and pay close attention to where the sessions are being held. Sessions and keynotes are held in multiple conference centers and you don’t want to be sprinting between sessions.. There are 1,500 total sessions, so it’s easy to get lost in translation when trying to attend as many as possible. Helpful hint: Pick 4-5 sessions to attend per day and fill your “down” time refueling, networking and checking out the vendors.

Here are a few sessions I’m excited to attend during #DF15:

2) Wear your walking shoes.

No need to rent a car because San Francisco is such a walkable city, and if you get tired there are plenty of Uber cars to go around. If you stop by our booth, #N2231, we’ll even give you a few free Lyft bucks for chatting with us about referral marketing automation.

Three spectacular restaurants in San Francisco you can walk to at Dreamforce:

Ryoko’s

Lefty O’Doul’s Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge

21st Amendment Brewery (it’s off the beaten path)

3) Hit the parties, but don’t hit them too hard.

Dreamforce is a long week and staying out all night partying is a good way to lose productivity at a rapid pace. Pick a few parties that peak your interest and make sure to drink a lot of water and remember to eat meals throughout the day, going non-stop from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. can be absolutely draining.

4) Use the app.

Most importantly, it has a map of the venues and a schedule for all of the events throughout the day. You can also check the social media chatter that is happening around Dreamforce directly through their app. #DF15

5) Don’t use this as a vacation.

This is an awesome time to learn and talk to potential customers about your business. It doesn’t matter what space you work in, there is opportunity for every single attendee to better themselves and their place of work. San Francisco is one of the greatest cities in the United States, and should be enjoyed, but remember why you are there in the first place
