It seems that the vectorisation was made by W3C and there is no evidence that the W3C has licensed this vectorisation. The vectorisation may be copyrighted as computer software, per w:Adobe Systems, Inc. v. Southern Software, Inc. Stefan4 (talk) 11:31, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- I'm against the deletion. W3C is clear for me. Wikipedia can use this file but if there is a problem, you can replace this picture with a PNG and you have to use a wikibot to replace this picture in Wikipedia... --Karima Rafes (talk) 16:43, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- Delete: The W3C website states that the logos therein are available only for non-commercial use. Images on the Commons must be available for all uses. -- Diannaa (talk) 16:20, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
- delete OK for WP, not OK for Commons as the W3C has some (minor, but real) usage restrictions. Andy Dingley (talk) 16:55, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

- This is a non-free logo, based on a non-free component that has just been deleted from Commons. It's justified on the two wikis that use it (en & fr) and belongs there, but the license isn't appropriate for Commons. Andy Dingley (talk) 20:14, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

- This isn't Wikipedia, this is Wikimedia Commons. Are you aware that they're significantly different in terms of copyright? Andy Dingley (talk) 21:23, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
- Wikimedia Commons is in first "the platform for the contents of other projects". If you want start a crusade against all the logos I would prefer that you start with Microsoft. For me, the debate is closed. Sorry. --Karima Rafes (talk) 22:06, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

Deleted, surpasses threshold of originality. The mentioned Microsoft logo is too simple for copyright. Taivo (talk) 11:21, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
