Usage[edit]
Add {{disputed diagram|why}}
to the top of the disputed diagram, replacing "why" with your reason. To specify the talk page section for discussion other than “Disputed” (default), use {{disputed diagram|why|talk page section name}}
.
This template will categorize articles into Category:Disputed diagrams.

Warning templates[edit]
Disputed / inaccurate:
- {{Disputed}} – copyright tag
- {{Wrong license}} – for use in file namespace / {{Wrong license note}} in user namespace
- {{Low quality chem}}
- {{Disputed chem}} – for inaccurate chemical structures
- {{Fact disputed}} – generally for files where the description (or filename) does not seem to match the content
- {{Disputed coat of arms}} – for coat of arms where the correctness or accuracy is disputed
- {{Disputed diagram}} – for diagrams where the factual correctness or accuracy is disputed
- {{Inaccurate-map-disputed}} – for maps where the factual correctness or accuracy is disputed
- {{Inaccurate paleoart}} for paleontological restorations
- {{Inaccurate description}} – an in-line template − but it should be kept
- {{Implausible}} – an in-line template − suspicious, very likely false information about the author, date of creation, license, etc.
- {{Factual accuracy}} – generally when there are issues with files themselves

Disputed / something missing:
- {{Clarify}} – an in-line template
- {{Lacking insignia source}} – insignia
- {{References missing}} – generally for files where the description or depiction needs references
- {{Datasource missing}} – for own diagrams and maps visualizing data that needs references
- {{No source since}} – deletion warning for missing essential source information
- {{Sourcefield}} - produces a warning that a file appears to have an invalid entry in its "Source" parameter; for use on user talk pages, not file pages; less serious than the {{No source since}} warning; does not threaten deletion
Fictional (consciously):
- {{Fake sports logo}} – for potentially serious confusion
- {{Fictional}} – proposed insignia ("flag", "sign", "seal", "CoA", …)
- {{Fake insignia}} — generic "faked" symbols, to facilitate identification but often not factually accurate to avoid copyright issues.
- {{Fictitious flag}} – for potentially serious confusion
Generally:
- {{Removed caption read}} – from the image itself (more like a info)
- {{Warning}} – a template box
